Dr. Monika Bhatia

Dr. Monika Bhatia grew up in Mumbai and studied medicine at the Government Medical College, Nagpur, India.

She moved to Stanford University, CA where she performed research in Neonatology. She completed her Pediatric residency training at the King Drew Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA. As a resident, she was honored with multiple awards including the Most Outstanding 3rd year Resident, the Most Outstanding Urgent and Emergent care 2nd year Resident and the Program Director's Award for Outstanding Team Player.

She practiced pediatrics at the outpatient clinic affiliated with O'Connor Hospital in San Jose, CA. Subsequently, she relocated to Allen and established her own pediatric practice. Her practice revolves around her central philosophy of educating parents, building their confidence and promoting a healthy lifestyle for the families she treats. Dr. Bhatia wants her patients to grow up to be healthy adults because she was a part of their lives.

Dr. Bhatia is married and has two daughters, Sanjna and Anika.
